Akua is a sustainable agri-finance and inclusive business development expert. Over the last 14 years, Akua has contributed to developing sustainable businesses through various programmes in Africa focusing on agro commodities. She is currently the gender specialist at IDH, working with Agribusiness SMEs in various food chains to integrate gender in their business and service delivery model in Africa. Akua provides business advisory, technical advisory on inclusive financing, capacity building to companies and CEOs on gender transformative business models and supporting women ecosystem development.
At her spare time, she mentors young women and women groups to build sustainable businesses.
