Ato Kwamena Mensah is the Co-Founder and CEO of LbH, Ghana’s pioneering agri-fintech platform transforming how smallholder farmers access resources and markets. A third-generation farmer with an IT background from the University of Ghana, Ato leads the development of LbH’s Agricultural Information Management System (AIMS) and Digital Extension Support App (DESApp), used by 19 cooperatives representing over 70,000 farmers. By digitizing farmer records and creating visibility for rural producers, LbH has enabled over 13,000 farmers to access flexible input credit and has facilitated more than $2M in financing across its ecosystem. Recognized in programs such as the NextGen Accelerator (Boston) and the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize, Ato champions technology-driven, climate-resilient food systems. His work focuses on practical tools that improve productivity, traceability, and market linkages while expanding equitable finance for farmers.
