Benjamin Gyan-Kesse is Executive Director of Kosmos Innovation Center, Ghana, a Not-for Profit Organisation, where he is driving the strategic execution of sustainable value chain transformation through innovation and tech for young people and entrepreneurs within the agricultural sector. As an AgriTech Thought Leader and Professional with 25 years of experience in farmer capacity building and agribusiness value chain programmes, he has nurtured over 600 agri entrepreneurs, incubated more than 30 startups and has supported over 58,000 cocoa farmers across all the cocoa growing regions in Ghana, focusing on productivity, value addition, market access and other livelihood improvement programmes through ICTAg.
Ben worked previously with Technoserve Ghana as Business Advisor. He also worked with Wienco-Cocoa Abrabopa Association as Training and Development Manager, as well as with Esoko as Business Development Manager, DAI.
A modern farmer, into fruit cultivation and processing, he is also into food-tech with a special focus on post-harvest loss management, project management, agri-marketing and sales.
