Peter Awin, the dynamic CEO and Co-Founder of Cowtribe, is at the forefront of revolutionizing the animal health sector in Africa. Founded in 2017, Cowtribe stands as Africa’s first technology-driven animal vaccine distribution platform, bringing crucial livestock vaccines to remote smallholder farmers. By 2022, the company had already made its mark, serving over 15,000 farmers and delivering more than 20 million vaccine doses across Ghana. This initiative not only amplified farmers’ income and food security but also witnessed 95% of them accessing vaccines for the very first time. Additionally, 30% of these beneficiaries were women, underscoring Cowtribe’s unwavering commitment to societal change and gender equality.
